Our first National Level Technical Level Symposium for the academic year 2008-2009 was held on 30/08/2008
The function started with our chief guest Dr.S.RAMANATHAN lighting the lamp. The Welcome Address was given by Dr.V.GOVINDARAJU, the HOD of MBA department. Our Honored Principal Dr.G.KARUPPUSAMI gave the Principal Address. Our esteemed Chairman Dr.S.N.SUBBRAMANIAN presided over the function. Dr.S.RAMANATHAN Professor and Director, School of Management Studies, Anna University had been invited to be the Chief Guest of our Inaugural function.
We conducted many events in which students from various colleges participated. The events are,

Mr.K.Karthikeyan Lecturer/CSE and Ms. S.Shanthi Lecturer/IT were the judges for the paper presentation of CSE/IT department and Ms.P.Menaka Lecturer/EEE and Ms.M.GeethaPriya Lecturer/ECE were the judges for the paper presentation of EEE/ECE department.
We received 110 papers for the presentation. From that 14 papers were selected for the presentation.
The students who participated showed great enthusiasm and out of 16 papers presented 4 won prizes. Two papers each were selected from CSE/IT department and ECE/EEE department.

Valedictory function was held in the evening and Dr.G.KARUPPUSAMI presented the report on ‘FACTOTUM’08’. N.RAVEENDRAN was the chief Guest for the function.Prizes was distributed by him. He gave a very inspiring speech to the students. Lakshmi jewellers, Coimbatore one of our sponsors of the program conducted a lucky dip. M.G Ravichandran II B.Tech (IT), SNSCE won gold coin.
