FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME [Day 1 - July 1, 2008]
The Session started with speech of our Principal Dr.G.Karuppusami, who shared glorious moments over the topic “Goal Setting and Execution”. He enriched the gathering with latest information for the faculty’s development.
Next session commenced with Prof.T.A.Selvan, HOD of Mechanical Department with the topic “Teaching Learning Process in Defence Engineering College at Ethiopia”.
He shared the glad moments of his experience about teaching in Ethiopia that was really impressive.
A Speech on “Patenting of Engineering Products” was given by Ms.M.Geethapriya, HOD of ECE Department in the third session included the general information about the Copyright, Trademark, Patent which is very essential to every Professional and Individual.
Final session ended with delightful speech of Mr.Pon.Rathnavel (Former Lecturer of Mechanical Department) on “Framing a Teaching-Learning Process” for the present education. It was a crispy moments for the lecturers to understand younger student generation’s expectation.

Next day schedule was enhanced by Mrs.M.Rathnadevi, Department of English “Importance of Communication in the classroom”. She stressed the effective and efficient ways of communication that are to be maintained in the classroom. Secondly, Prof.K.Periyakaruppan discussed about the “Effective Classroom Management”. He prescribed tips for an effective classroom management.
