SNSCE welcomes all ...II Sports Day - Report

SNS college of Engineering celebrated the II Annual Sports day on 27.02.2009 at the college ground.
The function started with prayer song. Mr.R.Chakaravarthy, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Crime west, Coimbatore city hoisted the National flag, Dr.S.N.Subbramanian, Chairman hoisted the Olympic flag, Dr.G.Karuppusami, Principal hoisted the College flag and it was followed by the march past of our athletes. In order to enlight the day, athletic and cultural events were also took place.
Dr.G.Karuppusami welcomed the gathering, Dr.S.N.Subbramanian delivered the Presidential address, and the chief guest Mr.R.Chakaravarthy opened the Mascot of II Annual Sports day and delivered the Special address.

The Institution has the habitude of encouraging the incipient sportsperson. This year Master. JA GIREMAN was called and honoured with a award called DHYANCHAND MEMORIAL AWARD. Dr.S.Rajalakshmi, Correspondent presented the award to Master. JA GIREMAN as a sign of motivation.
II Annual Sports report was presented by Mr.E.Balaji, Director of Physical Education SNSCE, later the prizes were distributed to the winners and runners, for both staff and students, for their best participation in different competitions. ESCORTS HOUSE (the students of CSE) won the overall championship. At the end Mr.E.Balaji, Director of Physical Education SNSCE, thanked all and the function got end up with the National Anthem.
“WINNERS NEVER QUIT AND QUITTERS NEVER WIN”.
Dr.G.Karuppusami, the Principal SNSCE, Prof.R. Natarajan, Administrative Officer, the staff members and the students of SNSCE honoured the nation by celebrating this golden day at the college premises.
